Up to now, farmers with mixed machinery fleets could only record, process and document their data using the machines and web portals of the individual manufacturers. With DataConnect, CLAAS, Case New Holland, and John Deere have created the first direct industry-wide and manufacturer-independent cloud-to-cloud solution.

DataConnect is a TELEMATICS function which is available for every connected machine of a DataConnect partner, regardless of its year of construction. You don't have to make any changes to your machine. To make data from a third-party machine visible in TELEMATICS, you need at least one CLAAS machine with an active TELEMATICS licence. A special type of licence is not required. To share data from a CLAAS machine with a third-party system via DataConnect, this machine must have an active TELEMATICS licence.

• In a similar way to ISOBUS, customers can now exchange their data via a common interface as well as control and monitor their entire machinery fleet using their favorite system.

• As an industry-wide, open solution, DataConnect is also available to all other interested manufacturers and solution providers.

• Your local CLAAS dealer will help you activate the licence and set up DataConnect on your connected machine.

The direct cloud-to-cloud solution ensures seamless, automatic data flow with no additional effort on your part. Real-time data exchange allows you to have a live overview of your entire machinery fleet. Furthermore, DataConnect works without any additional hardware and software components and guarantees secure data handling.

• You can transfer data from other machines via the new interface

DataConnect enables you to view the most important telemetry data for your mixed fleet in TELEMATICS. You can also connect the telemetry platforms of DataConnect partners to TELEMATICS.
